We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the bench outside the front door, taking in the view, chatting with locals and other visitors, and watching the most beautiful sunsets. For dads, it would be great if there were more outdoor activities for children.

We enjoyed watching the sunsets from the top of the road, it was truly breathtaking. the cottage itself was very comfortable and well-equipped, particularly the kitchen which had everything we needed for cooking. It was also a great advantage to have a garden overlooking the shore, where we could relax and take in the scenery.

The distance to the nearest supermarket, which was quite a drive away in Portree. , the presence of midges was a nuisance, especially when trying to enjoy the lovely garden.

The beds were comfortable and even had bed warmers. The garden overlooking the shore was stunning, and we were lucky enough to see dolphins and shooting stars. The location was great for exploring Isle of Skye, and we enjoyed the peaceful scenery away from the mountains. The local fishmongers were a great source for fresh fish. a delightful stay!

The lower floor was a bit dark, and there was some traffic due to the pub and restaurant nearby. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low, and the nearest food shop was a 15-minute drive away.
